# ShipStreak

> Public shipping streaks for indie builders. Ship one update a day, stay honest when you miss, keep a public record.

## What it is

ShipStreak tracks progress through a daily check-in: you enter 1–3 bullets describing what you shipped, generate a post, and copy it. Completing this loop increments your streak counter. It does not verify that you pasted or published the post elsewhere.

It measures consistency in recording daily shipping activity, not independently measuring how much work you completed or whether a social post went live.

## What the public profile shows

- Completion calendar, current streak state, shipped/skipped day counts
- A completed day is a dot; a missed day is a gap
- Calendar shows when you checked in — not your bullets or generated post text
- Profile URLs look like `https://{username}.shipstreak.space`

## Streak rules (product)

- One grace day per challenge
- Explicit pause up to seven days
- Missing a second day (after grace / outside pause) ends the streak; failed streaks can remain visible (graveyard)
- Entries are treated as immutable once submitted

Sample marketing posts may include `#shipstreak`. That hashtag alone is not proof of adoption; many unrelated posts use the same tag. Prefer links to `shipstreak.space` or public profile subdomains as evidence.

## Privacy (short)

Operated from the EU. Account + streak data in Firebase. Payments via Stripe (no card numbers on ShipStreak servers). Analytics via DataFast (visitor/session cookies; optional revenue attribution via Checkout metadata). Public profiles never show bullets or generated post text.
